Why this exists.
Quarternd is fund operations software for independent venture firms: the COO, operating partner or finance lead who owns the books at a firm that has outgrown spreadsheets and Airtable but does not want to hand control to an administrator whose format they are subject to and whose reconciliation they redo themselves.
Venture is getting more complex, not less. Side letters, SPVs and co-invest vehicles, second closes with stragglers, exits paid in acquirer stock. The rules that make a fund its own live in the LPA and in someone's head. Quarternd's premise is to take those rules in from the documents, codify them, and run the fund against them so the system works with you instead of waiting on an inbox.
Underneath, the math is built to be checked rather than trusted: every number is computed twice by independent engines, every figure opens to its full derivation, and no model ever touches the ledger. AI reads, maps and answers. Engines compute. A person confirms.
